Strong chewing muscle near the ear that opens and closes the jaw.
Detail
Overdeveloped masseter creates 'square jaw'. Common in Asian, Mediterranean, and tooth-grinding patients. Botox induces atrophy over 3-6 months, jaw becomes more oval. Dose: 20-50 units per side. Also treats bruxism.
