First, the type of hair loss

Hair loss is not one condition. Sudden onset, scalp inflammation, medicines, systemic conditions and family history can change the assessment. General aesthetic content cannot diagnose or exclude an underlying cause.

Limits of PRP research

Systematic reviews report some positive findings in androgenetic alopecia, but preparation, treatment frequency, comparison groups and follow-up vary substantially. They do not establish a fixed number of sessions, a permanent response or effectiveness for other alopecia types.
